Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great experience! The food was so tasty, the first time we eat home fries with good flavor in the east coast. The service is super fast and staff was very friendly and nice! We will definitely return here!"
"First, I really liked the “old school” diner vibes. Felt like back in the 80’s. Food was very good. The sweet potatoes hash were very good except I could have done without the greens. Staff were pretty friendly. Bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. The receipt is for 2 people, which I found a bit pricey compared to Sandwich Works around the corner, which is half the cost, nonetheless, Would I come back? Yes, I would. Parking in the area is metered, I mean, EVERYWHERE. Use the PASSPORT APP from the App Store to pay for parking. It’s a lot easier. It’s like $1.35 for an hour and a half."
"Fun funky interior and good breakfast sandwiches. Also appreciate the portion sizes. Though because of how busy it was (Saturday brunch), we didn’t get coffee refills or a chance to talk to our waiter after the initial order. Cute area though + I wouldn’t be opposed to eating here again if nearby. Also the potatoes were very onion heavy"
"I was impressed by the food here. Coffee was good and I enjoyed my club sandwich. Came here on a weekday at about 10AM. It wasn't busy. I would say that the prices were spot on with just about everywhere else these days."
"One of the best breakfast diners in town! I used to be a big fan of Knotty Pine for many years, but this place has completely won me over—it’s even better. The food is excellent, and the locally sourced fries are crispy without being overcooked. I had the brunch hamburger on a brioche bun—it was soft, lightly grilled (not soggy), and absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the Truffle Bunny, and it was fabulous—fresh, flavorful, and not overly salty. This has officially become my go-to breakfast spot."
"Amazing atmosphere and has a very vibrant interior. Service is also very fast and friendly. There was a line as well during breakfast and that’s how you know this place is good. They do all the classics very well. Since its my first time I always like to test the waters with classic breakfast items. The eggs were perfectly cooked to what I asked. The sausage links had a slight char and crunch with a succulent meaty chew. The bacon was perfect too. Crispy but not oily at all. The only gripe I had was with the pancakes. This may just be a personal preference but in my opinion, the pancakes were a bit on the heavy and dense side. I prefer it to be light and airy so it soaks up the syrup. Other than that everything else was amazing! I would no doubt come back. The other items on the menu are enticing me to come back and try them."
"Old fashioned American diner style that made me feel nostalgic a bit! They service fresh brewed coffee and fresh local produce as well. My kids had the Semi meal that comes with eggs cooked the way you prefer, French toast and a side of fruit salad. For vegetarian and vegans there’re few options but you can also ask to remove the meat from your dish! The service was great, smiley friendly staff, got us a table in no time and kept coming back to ask if anything is needed."
"This kitchen is definitely doing everything right. I had one of the best pastrami grill sandwiches that i ever had. Love their cheese blintzes, lox and bagel. Love to have those classic dinners still up on business."
